Online gambling technology provider Playtech announced this week that it has extended its long-term relationship with Flutter Entertainment by signing a new five-year contract.
The transaction includes operations: Flutter's Paddy Power, Betfair, Sky Casino.
Under the agreement, Playtech will supply its online casino games and live dealer products to the aforementioned three brands to further expand their offerings.
Flutter's Paddy Power and Betfair have been part of the group since its formation in 2016 through the merger of gambling operators Paddy Power and Betfair. As for Sky Casino, it joined the company last year when it closed a multi-billion dollar deal with Canada's The Stars Group.
Playtech said the recently signed deal with the largest gambling group represents a significant extension of its long-term relationship with this key strategic partner. Under the agreement, the provider will provide its popular suite of online casino products and related services to many Flutter brands across Europe. The deal also includes the exclusive launch of the Playtech-powered Sky Vegas Live casino.
Commenting on the latest deal, Playtech COO Shimon Akad said:
The gambling operator is one of our key strategic partners. This new agreement to deliver software and services to a longtime partner in four of the largest industries is significant.
Mr Acad added:
The new deal is testament to the long-standing and strong relationship between supplier and operator. We look forward to continuing to work with Flutter and its brands in our core markets.
Conor Grant, CEO of UK and Irish Gambling Business, said:
We are delighted to renew our existing agreement with Playtech. Over the years, we have built a very successful partnership. We are delighted to continue to provide our players with access to software from one of the world's leading providers of high quality gaming products.
This is the last major content deal announced by Playtech in recent weeks. We wrote a few days ago that the company announced that its suite of casino games with a random number generator will work with online gambling brands owned by gambling operator Kindred.
Both companies marked their recently signed agreement by launching digital content for Playtech casinos with flagship brand Kindred Unibet on UK and .com sites. The major provider also recently announced that its Live Casino lineup will be added to the ever-growing lobby of 888casino, an online gaming brand owned by 888 Holdings.
